Faith Fleming is a writer, director, and producer from Columbia, Missouri, currently pursuing her M.F.A. at Loyola Marymount University in Los Angeles. With a focus on destigmatizing women's bodies and sexuality, her work aims to bring awareness to themes of identity, trauma, and resilience.

Faith got her start working for the True/False Film Festival while attending the University of Missouri, where she worked in communications and graphic design. It was here that she first fell in love with filmmaking, drawn to the power of visual storytelling and the collaborative nature of film production. She went on to graduate summa cum laude with Departmental and University Honors, earning a B.A. in English and a B.A. in Film Production and volunteer at Sundance Film Festival 2023, 2025.

After moving to LA, Faith interned for Mazu Films, where she worked under producer Jenny Turner and award-winning filmmaker Ting Poo. At Mazu Films, she gained hands-on experience in non-fiction episodic and feature development, refining her skills in budgeting, research, pitching, and production planning. This experience deepened her understanding of storytelling in documentary filmmaking and strengthened her ability to bring compelling narratives to life.

In 2024, Faith wrote and directed two short films on 16mm, Thirst and Swear to God, which are beginning their festival run. Her dedication to the craft of shooting on film reflects her commitment to the artistry and discipline of visual storytelling. In 2025, she will be directing The Underlining Pain, an M.F.A. thesis short film, further expanding her work in narrative filmmaking.
